i score high in the "eccentric personality disorder" catagories!!

i haven't felt like posting... thanksgiving was fine... manufactured dinner was much better than i thought...

got bloodlines like I planned... i think it's a fantastic game... has a dark dry humour about it i am eating up... and of course a much richer story... wonderful game... i recommend completely so far...

saw incredibles saturday... very good movie, i thoroughly enjoyed it...

saw alexander today... waste of three hours of my life... i don't recommend at all... it would have been a waste of my $6 if Angelina Jolie wasn't in it... about 2/3rds through i wanted alex to die so i could leave... i think i would have left had i not been with other people... i can't say it was the type of movie i normally like in the first place... but i can find something i like about most movies... but this... no... if you think you might like it maybe you will just wasn't my thing at all... should have followed my gut on this one...

i got nothing else... i'm tired...

finished hl2

finished hl2 today... and i don't know why... hl2 really is a better game than doom3 in most aspects... but i found doom3 much more satisfying to play... doom3 was much harder... i think... i played doom3 on the second of four difficulties,(have to beat it on that setting to unlock the fourth) and it was harder than hl2 was on medium... but i dunno.. hl2 has better grpahics and better physics, much more involved game play, better level design... but it's pretty easy... and all in all not very satisfying at all... also doom3 is MUCH more stable, and loads MUCH faster...

happy turkey day!

well i got jealous of khautz's turkey... so i drew my own...

suicide

well.. i got off work an hour early to "spend time with my family"... ah civil service...

during one of the meetings bruce said he thought it might be best to just let suicidal people kill them selves... i couldn't believe he said that... it was so hard not to laugh... then another guy said "i know you like sarcasm Bruce but i don't see where you're going with this"... i laughed then... but at least i wasn't the only one...

most of the guys in my group thought ti was a complete waste of time... i over head some other people really getting something out f it though, like letting their office mates know they can can always rely on them... Skip's my office mate.. i know he's got my back... skip's awesome...

got new headphones today... got tired of my biggish studio style sony's wanted some good sennheiser ear buds... $13 on amazon through a separate vendor... they're pretty amazing.. the bass is kind of weak... but they make up for it in quality in other parts of the frequency spectrum... it's one of those steps where you're like "holy shit i've never heard these parts of my music before"... i think i'm slowly turning into an audiophile... but if you're in the market for ear buds and dont need eardrum banging bass i recommend the sennheiser(they're german they must be good!) mx-500's...

there are alot of mx-500 models... the logitech mouse(no replaced with the mx-510), my head phones... and also the remote control i'm getting my dad for xmas...

gt4 pushed back indefinitely... what the fark...

a flash player wasn't to be...

i just want a mp3 player... my cd player has grown too bulky for my tastes... and i got lazy and was tired of switching cd's... so i ordered a 1gb jumpdrive and a mp3 adapter for it... got the mp3 player part... but the jumpdrive was backordered till january, that order was promptly canceled... i sent the mp3 player back to amazon.. yay amazon! then i ordered a 4gb flash player for $110 after rebates... then that gets back ordered till after the rebate expires... so then i find a 30 gb creative zen player for $175 with no rebates... and i ordered that tonight... from walmart of all places... i also sprung for the service plan which i normally don't do... but it was only $17 and i've heard these player can have issues with both failed hard drives, and poor headphone jacks... so i figured it was worth it... and for the price nothing else comes close... (oh and i believe someones still owes me money...)

what else... lacking motivation at work being t-giving week and all... but tomorrow it's a day long suicide prevention program,grr... there's at least two of these a year... why's suicide so common in the airforce? they realize they sold their souls to the devil? atleast i can get out whenever i want...

our thanksgiving dinner is coming from krogers this year... jesus... my grandpa ordered it for us, didn't want to make my mom go through all the trouble, it' a nice gesture but i can't help but feel kinda of sad, we've resorted to manufactured thanksgiving dinners... ::shakes head:: usually i'm all about laziness but this almost crosses the line even for me... i'll definately report back with the quality of the meal on thursday...

i've developed the bad habit of bullshitting at work... i can just go off and start talking to someone for an hour, yeah me talk to someone for an hour, you wouldnt' believe it but i now can in fact do just that... today i was talking to one of the techs... he has an itt tech degree and he was trying to go back and get his bs... but none of the credits transfered and he had to take all the gen eds... in a english class he had to read a book whose title had some thing to do about a golden ass... in this book a guy gets himself turned into a donkey and he goes around town as a donkey having sex with all sorts of women... and apparently it gets fairly detailed, donkey on teenage girl action... another book he had to read had to do with the creation of the world... apparently life on earth was started by zeus masturbating on a rock in space... yay!!

seeing friday night lights tomorrow at the cheap house...

have little desire to play hl2 tonight...

i wanna see skinny puppy live again as soon as possible... or ohGr... rumours of puppy touring with tool in summer... did i already say that? that'd be a show i'd be willing to sell my left nut to go to...

bitterness was not retained...

well i was going to make a these farking people post out of this, but i haven't harbored the bitterness that i feel is required to make an honest TFP post...

the story goes like this though...

i get the 7 to start, a vaccum cap i had put on in the spring after removing the air control valve had deteriorated and was preventing vacuum from being made.. i covered it with some tape and she started right up... so i'm like hot damn, lets go buy more vacuum caps... and in my excitment i thought it was a good idea to take the 7...

i get on the road and after a bit i realize oh shit there's no oil pressure so i pull off into a park... i had checked the oil not a week before and there was plenty, i checked it again, it's fine... so i'm baffled... but i decided i should go home and get the sunfire until i figure out the oil gauge problem... when i go to start her up again i'm rewarded with nothing... i redo the tape and fool around, find two other vacuum caps in poor condition... i have my mom bring some better tape... (the park is less than 2 miles from my house) nothing... i use my fingers as vaccum caps... still nothing... this leads me to believe the problem is something i'm not going to solve in a parking lot...

so AAA is contacted for the tow... 45 minutes they say... in 30 minutes they call say 15-20 minutes, all right cool i can handle that... 35 minutes elapse... nothing, i call again... miscommunication with the towing company, going to be ANOTHER 30 minutes... of course i was getting on the very edge of my patience at this point... but the girl apologizes and says it's completely their fault and that our account won't be charged for the tow... she also says it's fine for me to go home if i have a ride... i ride home with my mom...

at home another 45 minutes elapse... at this point i'm ready to throttle someone... i call, this time a guy tells me the car's in tow... about 2 mintues later Ed appears with my 7 in tow...

Ed likes to talk.. told me about east dayton... and why he was so late(had a prioirty call doign a police job)... and his 60 years experience as a diesel mechanic... and how he's 77 and he doesn't need to work anymore thanks to social security, but he needs to keep himself busy... which i do understand... Ed was a fun person to meet, almost made the whole experience worthwhile...

it was frustrating... but i don't hold any grudges now that it's over... the delay's weren't caused by oblivious actions of others... and both AAA and Ed apologized for the delay... and often times an apology is all it takes to make me happy...

yay Ed!

well where to start...

my church has 5 separate services... saturday night,a more laid back contemporary service ... 8 am, a traditional old people service, 10:45 a family service... also during the 10:45 time they have a teen service(7-12 th) and another young adult service(18-30)... so a couple times a year they like to rent out a place and combine all the services together so everyone can see everybody else and make nice and all... so that was this morning... it was at the auditorium at my high school... i hadn't been there for what three years or so... and that's that...

lunch with mom and grandparents...

got home decided to tinker with the 7... found a decaying vacuum cap... cover it with tape and started right up...

::insert future these farking people post here::

Ed brings the car to my house... ed's farking awesome... he's says we have a nice place and would really like a place like this for himself... this leads into how he can't work on cars where he lives in east dayton... this leads to a story about a flat tire on his car... he got up in the morning, saw he had a flat, he was just going to fill it up go to work and worry about it later... well a cop pulls up and starts giving him shit about working on his car in the street... after they exchange some more words Ed threatens to shoot the cop in the head with a 44... a couple of days later he gets a letter from the mayor about the incident... he told the story much better than i... we talked some more... he swore more than Brian... he's 77 years old, i would have guessed mid 60's the latest... but it was getting dark... he's worked on diesel engines for 60 years, would like a big barn so he can work on them as his own business... i fear my limited journalistic skill cannot fully convey the idea of Ed... but he's farking awesome... it's people like ed that remind that i really don't hate every person... thanks ed! you're so awesome it's okay you took so long to get here...

still making forward progress on halflife... great game but not the end all of gaming... i'm kind of surprised with pc gamer's 98%... 95 or 96 yeah... it just doesn't feel THAT close to perfection... it's better than doom3 in most regards, the play style is more varied, with vehicles and many different environments, doom is pretty much the same all the way through(except for the hell levels)... but i was really expecting much more story in hl2... it's pretty much go here, ok you're here, now go here, with very little story tying it all together, the reasons for going from here to there all feel shallow to me... also i don't feel very immersed in the game... doom immersed me... doom made me afraid to play it... it made me afraid to walk around the next corner... it did the horror element very well, in my opinion... i don't think hl has that... i think hl should get a few points higher than doom... but not a 98... (i think doom got a 94...)

anyways.. short week this week...yippee... time to find some supper... farking people post, later... i think...

fantastic

wow... buckeyes won... i didn't expect it... what a fantastic way to end an otherwise disappointing season... and they really looked good today... i have high hopes for next season... they started to fall apart in the 2nd half some... i think they smelled victory and got lazy... but now i can proudly wear my osu hat when i return to flint... what a sweet sweet win...

halftime

did some heavy hl2 playing last night... good game.. the source engine is nothing short of amazing... and it's more effcient than the doom3 engine... hardly ever bogs down at same res with settign on high...

i do feel teh story is kinda weak.. ot that i care too much... but compared to ps2 rpg's teh stories lacking... i'm looking forward to finishing it so i can justify getting bloodlines which i've been hearing some good things about... heard teh graphics arne't as good at hl2, and it runs a little slower... but i'm really looking forward to playing that...

and go bucks... it's halftime.. but they're winning... the margin should be more.. they played poorly in the red zone... but their doing better thani would have dreamed... this woudl be such a sweet victory... still a a half to go... i'm hopeful... but i'm not convinced they'll hold on to it...

11.18.2004

...

i really don't have anything to say today... nothing to complain about... nothing to gloat about...

fixed friend computer... made the brothers restricted accounts and all that jazz...

work's work... ready for weekend...

played some hl2, using the beta 4.12 cats now(w/ alleged hl2 optimizations)... hasn't crashed since i switched to them...

uploading more hl2 screen shots here

i'm still uploading as i type... slow upstream to space... it should be done in 15 minutes or so... i hope... it's like 4 megs... this was easier for me than photobucketing them... pictures 2 and 3 and 5 and 6 go to together before/after stuff....

posted last comment as farking.people... oh well...

sean hannity makes me angry too... he's so blatantly republican... atleast tonight he was getting to me...see once i got going i knew i could find something to complain about...

cosmic catfish is just too awesome... i think he should be the mascot of farking.people... looking down form the cosmos at all these farking people...

idiot proofing a computer...

tomorrow i have to go clean up my friend's family computer... this would be the third time in about 12 months... it's not my friend, it's his younger brothers... he has his own computer...

i've given them spybot, avg, and crazybrowser... they seem incapable of using any of this software... my friend ran avg and found in excess of 2000 viri... i'm sure spybot doesn't look much better... when i was there last decemeber the there was not enough memory to open up ie, the ram and 1gb of virtual memory were filled with spyware... my personal opinion is that one or both of his borthers are carelessly looking at porn and clicking yes to the pop ups a little too much...

also they don't have a firewall the modem is pulled directly to the computer... so what's a good firewall software, or would it be better to have them buy a router?

also are there any ways ot idiot proof the computer to prevent this from happening again... would setting up power user accounts for the brothers instead of admin help?

steamed...

now that i've had a day too cool off and see that i'm by no means the only person having a shit fit registering with valve's steam program, i'd like to say a couple things...

first, i think valve should have better anticipated the volume of people that were going to need to register... it should not takeme two hours to install your program, and from what i've read in forums i was a lucky one...

next, i think it's been proven necessary to take such anti-piracy measures, sure in a few days their will probably be cracks and work arounds... maybe not, this is by far the greatest anti-piracy measure there's been in a game, it probably took a decent amount of time to develop, so valve must feel there's a strong financial case here... also using a huge title like hl2 is a good method of introducing the technology, a lesser title, far fewer people would be willing to deal with it... but since now it's been introduced others can follow suit... which personally i think is good...

i've been paying full for my games are nearly two years now, atleast the games i play single player and spend many hours playing... i've pirated some multiplayer games but thats was just to play at lans and with guys i live with... so i see it different, they were games i had no interest to play otherwise... music and movies i'm pretty good about too... if i really want a cd i buy it... if i really like a movie i buy it...most of the cd's i've listened to more than once or twice i own... and most of the movies i've seen more than once or twice i also own...

i think the cyberspace needs capitalism to smack it in it's commie, lets share everything, face, it's gotten so bad that it's economically viable to spend the time and resources to develop more advanced anti-piracy measures... i don't feel bad in most cases for people sued by the riaa, or now the mpaa... they get what's coming to them... i just hope my resident commie phil doesn't get my capitalistic ass in trouble in flint...

11.16.2004

halflife2

the game itself looks amazing and the physics engine is fun... i like throwing cinder blocks at guards then they come and beat me... only been playing 30 minutes or so because the damn game took forever to install... first it's on 5 cds... but then you have to verify your copy thorugh this team software on the internet, to reduce pirating and stuff...

the steam software didn't play well with my satellite connection gave me all sorts of shit, it crashed abotu 3 times trying to verify my copy ... then i start playing and the damn game crashes less than 10 minutes into play... i didnt have to put up with this shit with doom3.. it crashed maybe once during my stint playing it...

the game looks good though and now i got thorugh the painful steam experience it should be smoother.. so far the load times are kidna longer and more frequent than i would like... i'll defrag will i'm at the movie though...

summary: steam software causes headaches, not confident in stability yet, graphics are amazing...

that puppy album came out in may, but thanks for looking out for me!

i want one to to shoot me in the head

it feels like it's going to explode... so i'm tempted to help it along... maybe then the pain will stop...

in other news, rumours of puppy touring with tool next summer... that would be very exciting if it proves to be true... i know the tool drummer is huge puppy fan.. he even helped out and played for one of the tracks on the new puppy album...

skip's step daughter came into our office with him, on sunday... she's 12... she drew all over our white boards and a giant pad of paper skip has on the wall... on his pad she wrote such fun things as "fucked up little finger", "shut up jack ass ", and F'ing Ham Missouri... after our boss was amazed skip let his 12 year old daughter write "fuck" skip covered it up with stick on labels... it took four to achieve illegibility...

had my mid-cycle review today with Vince and Dave(branch chief)... vince is very pleased with both the quality and quantity of my work... yipee... meeting tomorrw morning with vince and all his underlings...

half life 2 tomorrow... possibly perfect circle dvd since best buy will have it for $15 this week... after that i think it'll shoot up to around $25, which is the list price... so if i think i'll ever want it tomorrow would be the time to get it...

also napoleon dynamite at 9:25 at the cheap house with matt doug and bethany... all this, of course, is assuming my head doesn't explode...

and now for a random line from the skinny puppy track "testure" one of my favourites, its expresses puppy's disagreement with the practice of vivsection and other animal testing in general:

"trip mucous inflection more die. pills each day what goes around comes back stronger tap into the brain break the skull again"

fantastic broken english isn't it?

rubber ducky you're the one

according to IQTest.com i have an Iq of 145... their scale puts me on the border of simple genius and extraordinary genius... however, i am reluctant to admit my geniusness is unquestionably measurable

145 - 160 Extraordinary genius (Less than 1% of test takers)

bark bark

the track, VX Gas Attack form puppy's 1988 album, VIVIsect VI, was written to condem iraq's alleged use of chemical weapon on the iranians (kurds?)... now they use the song with the bush/hitler comparison videos to insult the war in iraq over the alleged development of chemical weapons... ::scratches head:: the irony?

ah, little more research... gas given to iraq by usa to kill iranians, more clear now... and more consisent on puppy's part... which makes me happy they are intelligent enough to remain consitent...

rx-7 doctor

well i did some investigative work on the 7 after i returned from cleveland... still no start... have spark, plugs look okay, getting 100psi compression on each rotor, but i need ot get a better compressor tester because the one i was using stores the highest value observed it doesn't bounce so i can't tell if all faces of the rotor are putting out 100 psi... which would be really good if they were... both rotors sound the same with a spark plug missing, so unless a seal is blown on both rotors i think it's safe to say the seals are fine... so we have spark and we have compression only other component required for combustion is fuel... which i've never had an problems with before... probablay a bad connection some where ::shrugs::...

i'll probably buy a new compression tester sometime to compeltely elminate the possibility of compression lose, but even if jsut one side is runnign at 100psi if the fuel was working i should be getting at least some thing that sounds like a boom inthe exhaust instead of a series of puffs...

so i'm hopeful, i don't think the engine is blown... so that means it'll be relatively cheap to fix..in the mean tiem it's sunfiero time... which i can get 31 mpg out of mixed freeway/city with a emphasis on freeway... that's nice compared to the 23 in get in the 7 in pure freeway driving... and it does have more get up and go than the 7 thanks to the torque... only thing is the suspension is subpar...

we don't need no drama for puppy!

well back from cleveland, had a great weekend... the puppy show was fantastic... in my opinion the best live show i've seen ever... it was everything i had hoped for...

opening band was just a guy and his synthesizer... ask randy and he'll agree it was simply the most bizarre thing we'd ever seen... words cannot begin to explain... even if they could they wouldn't be believed... otto von schirach was his name... i can't recommend his music, but his live show is off the farking charts, i hadn't laughed that hard in months...

before the show started there was a guy and a girl have a heated disagreement about who slept in whose bed when... a secuitry guard came over.. he was black, this is significant so you know that he had an awesome deep black man's voice and he said "hey, we don't need no drama for puppy" and it made me laugh... the girl was soon removed from the venue after that... she began to resort to physical violence...

kielen, i saw you're post about apc , i'll just reply here... yeah the album does seem more anti-war... and in my mind after learning this he does have more credibility... i guess they have a dvd coming out this tuesday with a bunch of their videos on it... i might have sot pick that up when i'm out getting hl2... and after last night i don't think i'd like any music if i had to agree with the musicians political ideas 100%

puppy is anti-bush, but i think primarily because of the war... they had video playing during the show just 2 songs one comparing bush to hitler and putting swastikas instead of stars on the flag and stuff... a the next song i think maybe a few songs later they acted out one of the beheadings and then the executioners took off their towels and were wearing bush and cheney masks... it was kinda funny, the crowd ate it up... but i'm not gonna take it personally or seriously because they're canadians and we all know all canadians do is lie, and from a marking standpoint why not do it because i'm sure a very strong majority of puppy fans are not exactly bush supporters... and apart from their political agenda it was a fantastic show...

11.12.2004

moore and a stupid car

well i get up this morning and the damn rx-7 won't start... i tired the normal tricks to get her started all failed... i'm going to see the randy man so i get to drive the sunfiero all weekend...

i get to work and i find out michael moore is now making a sequel to f 9/11... becasue the voters weren't told the truth during this election season... this guy doesn't learn... he's not helping his cause... i saw a number(is it true? i dunno, but i'd believe it) that i think 22% of the poeple who voted for bush did so because of the abundance of anti-bush media... also he labels the majority of the country jesus land mocking them and their values now he wants them to agree with him... bad politics man...

11.11.2004

more calculus...

grr... i don't wanna help her... why can't she learn it herself like i did... or ask someone in the class... or ateast stop making condescending remarks about how she's gonna be a doctor and that the world should love her for that...

here's my favourite part... she tells me she's gonig out and asks if i want her ot leave her stuff out so i can get familiar with it... if she wasn't my sister she would have gotten an earful of my disgust and no calc help...

my xml feed thing

well fooled around and got my xml feed thing working so i can feel special... firefox just adds it to your bookamrks and updates it throughout the day.. i think they call it a live bookmark... pretty neat... or you can use a program like rss bandit and get all your rss feeds taken care of...

here she is

cervical disk surgery

my dad ruptured a disk... surgery to fix his neck... sounded kinda fun... sliced open his throat, less dangerous than going in the back, in the back the spinal cord gets in the way... pushed the esophogus outta the way rip out eh farked up disk shove a piece of bone where the disc used to be, fuse bones togetehr with titanium... shot him up with morphine and give him a handful of vicodin and tell him he can't leave the house for 2 weeks...

i was lookign for some taste surgery pictures to post but can't find any... you guys lucked out this time...

he seemed in good spirits at the hospital, has the vicodin for pain but he was perfectly alert, and we were joking and having a good time.. he comes home tomorrow... so alls well i guess... hopfully this eliminates the pain...

tried playing shadow hearts some.. just can't get into it tonight, seems lieka decent game though... i got spoiled byteh constant voice over in ffx... there isn't much in hearts... jsutthe cut scenes and form what i've heard inthe cut scenes i'm very glad there's no more... teh voice acting is terrible... and the script is terrible... this last one went on making noises like shloop, shloooooop, splat! crea-a-acrea-a--k shlooop shloop like a juicy piece of meat crawling across the floor... what the fark.. i couldn't help but laugh... it was so bad...

sleep in tomrorow... no work...

mp3 player shipped today... jumpdrive for it back ordered supposed to ship before the 19th... i order soon enough luckily, people ordering now are supposed to get there's before the new year starts...

dell

i ordered my jump drive from dell... my current order status is

"This order has been released to manufacturing and is in assembly."

haha...

gigacool

to celebrate my promotion to gigacool i've purchased a 1 gigabyte flash drive... $41 shipped after rebate

also got a lexar mp3 player to go along with it cause i've wanted a flash mp3 player for awhile, they just were not economically viable, but a 1 gb for ~$85 i can live with...

seeing taxi at the cheap house tonight with doug and anyone else he has coming...

work temps are crazy... high 70's in the morning, freezing ass cold in the evening(don't have a scientific measurement, but i had to put my coat on)

skinny puppy, saturday with the randy man and mandy woman... have i said that yet ::shrugs::

160 trails left as a test subject...

transfered my algorithm from c to use with excel's solver, solves in mere second now as opposed to minutes doing it iteration by iteration which could take several minutes... also seems to provide more accurate answers... it's slowly becoming my best friend... excel's solver is based on newton's solving method some how i don't understand the details yet but i do know it's rather robust... ms knew what they were doing there...

more trouble posting...

11.08.2004

phil's blog!!!!

after some threats where made phil decided to start his own blog... yay phil!! now you just need to post something of content...

i'm a test subject for the usaf...

today i got to be a test subject for george's project... well and tomorrow too i'm not even half way done yet... if involves me sitting in the dark room, i get to compare the noise in a set of night vision goggles(nvg's) to a simulations running on a monitor with optics to give me a stereo image... on the montior there two choices i have to choose the one i think better represents the actual nvg display... i've been at it for two hours so far... i have 310/702 done... they're often tiems it's hard to choose one...

other than that i've been testing my algorithms to find the rotations of a camera based on the differences of points in a 2d images... i so far the average error seems to be less than a tenth of a degree with a max discrepancy of ~.35 degrees... but much work needs to be done... they only work for pure rotations, translations are a no go as of yet... and this assumes the distance from the camera to the target is known...

my dad's surgery's on wednesday.. he'll be in bed for two weeks... got his wifi workign in there... he made an antenna for our router out of a piece of foil.. it works decent...

skip sent me all sorts of pictures today...and because he was showing them to me he spent a couple hours organizing all his pictures on his computer... he'd been stressed writing a report for the past few days though, guess he needed a break...

skip's awesome though... he was hired to repalce my boss in 5-10 years... he'd be an awesome boss... i dunno if i wanna stick around though... because government doens't pay that well.. with a bs i'd come in making around $38k they told me... i see the average starting slaary for a bs in ee is aorund $49k... i dunno.. i have time to think about it... i'll be doing grad school before real job anyways...

i think grad school probably osu... u of m maybe if i can make the cut... it's really a fantastic engineering school... but it's againist my blood... i was born of two buckeyes and raised in the ways of the buckeye...

anwyays gonna go watch foxnews with my pappy... this election has kind of brought us closer... now we discuss politics...

yay the first quiz in my blog!

in case any one wonders, this highly scientific test tells me i'm a...

You Are a Capitalist Republican

Money makes your world go round - and it's no surprise that you always vote your wallet.

You're financially successful (or plan to be), and your agenda is low tax and pro business.

You don't get fired up about abortion... but mention capital gains tax, and you go crazy.

You want government to be as small as possible - and to stay out of the way of business.

go bucks...

yeehaw... the nuts of poison won today... it wasn't that pretty, they got lucky... all their points cam in the first 7 minutes or last 4 minutes of the game... but they are eligible for bowls games now thankfully... rough season... i think they have a chance to beat Purdue... but Michigan... i'd expect hell to freeze over first... but it might happen... they beat msu by a greater margin than michgan did...

up till 3 or 4 playing ffx last night.. i'm so lame... did work in yard pertaining to removal of fallen leaves...

just got back form returning some videos....

reservations at sake at 7:30... we had a change of plans last night and simply went to el toro, the local mexican place we frequent... my dad was tired and his neck hurt so he didn't wanna go all the way to sake... he did mix painkillers and beer though.. and then started dancing to rob zombie during the car ride home...

he's getting surgery this Wednesday to fuse two vertebrate together... he burst the disc between them and is in near constant pain...

any ways... i'm gonna go off and be cool some more... but no where near as cool as kielen... because in his own words, he's "tera-cool"

mr. moore

wow... i really hate this man... i liked roger and me... and bowling for columbine... they were kinda fun... i havn't seen farenheit 9/11... i'd like to, but i'm sure as fuck not paying to see it...

but now this "17 Reasons Not to Slit Your Wrists..."by Michael Moore, it gets personal singling out ohio, 30(? i think) other states voted bush too... . but here's directly form his page

7. Once again we are reminded that the buckeye is a nut, and not just any old nut -- a poisonous nut. A great nation was felled by a poisonous nut. May Ohio State pay dearly this Saturday when it faces Michigan.

also, get your facts right... we play Michigan STATE this saturday... any god fearing michgander or ohioan would know that, and would also know there's a world of difference between msu and u of m, it's just a little unimportant fact but if you can't get those right i don't have faith in your crucial ones either...

get over yourself... you can't change the world but you can certainly make a damn fool of yourself...

apart from the unnecessary ohio comment which i will never forgive him for, alot of his points i find childish and of questionably credability... he says they're making gains? how? bush won by a bigger margin this time than he did in '00... this farking person...

sake and a fatality

a fatality occurred in my fish tank last night... one of my sisters fish was getting beat up in her tank, so she moved him to mine... he was fine for about a week, but i woke up this morning and he had beat the mortal crap outta one of the other fish(wasn't actually my fish so i don't' really care, just living in my room)... the beautiful thing about this is he doesn't face any punishment for this... sometimes i wished i lived in an aquarium...

i get to eat at SAKE the japanese steakhouse, tomorrow for supper, how exciting!

the crusade for a perfect circle

my sister accompanied me on my venture to purchase the new apc album... it was a difficult journey, and at times it seemed utterly hopeless... first to the other best buy... nothing... then circuit city nothing, but we notice a guy we saw at best buy their also... we thought hmm peculiar... then we go to cd warehouse, after some thought the cahsier was able to tell me they will have in tomrorow afternoon... that wasn't good enough... so it was off to the mall...

walking through the mall parking lot, i told my sister:

"I can stomach up to $15, and $16 i'll vomit in my mouth but be able to swallow again, $18 vomit woudl be all over the place"

at the cd shop in the mall we meet up again with our friend from best buy and circuit city and kinda smile and laugh at each other, he purchased the manson's lest we forget and apc, it was on sale for $16 marked normally at $20, there was only one uneditted versions remaining... after vomitng in my mouth and swallowing again i purchased it so that an evening's worth of travels would not be in vain...

conflicted...

i'm feeling conflicted on a couple issues today.... both of which are of great importance i assure you...

first is A Perfect Circle has a new album out composed primarily of remixes of anti-war songs... i want to get it because i enjoyed their 13th step immensely, one of my all time favourite albums... how ever do i really want to pay them money so they can express their political views to me... but i probably will buy it if i go out tonight... assuming the store i go to this time has it.. best buy
was sold out when i stopped after work... and didn't wanna stop any where else cause i was dressed like a tool in work clothes(tomorrow i don't have dress up to though, ha!)...

second issue... i received the copy of the original shadows heart that i ordered. .. i couldn't find it locally so bought from amazon vendor... but the problem here is i'm not done with ffx yet... almost but not, quite... i'm dicking around with a couple side quests then i gotta go do the beat the mortal fark outta sin thing... i really feel i should finish it before i start shadow hearts..
otherwise, i fear, it'll never be finsihed...

in other news another drunk video from skip!! but i warn you this one is kind of, if not very, nasty... if was originally titled dont ever get this drunk.wmv... but i shortened it to drunk2, because it's easier for me to type...

enjoy, or not...

!!video!!

another video from skip at work... wonderful

John Kerry

I'd like to commend john kerry and his decision to concede to avoid a painful and lengthy recount... it gives a greater sense of certianity so we can all get back to business as usually..

however John Edwards i've read was trying to convince Kerry to not concede, shame on you edwards tring to find a loop hole for you and your lawery buddies to crawl through and create greater hate between sides... from these actions i see Kerry as a decent man, who does care about this country... but not edwards, to me it seems he's in it for personal gain, i must win no matter the cost, even causing a greater divide among americans... there also is an obvious disconnect between edwards and kerry here...

also, i can't read fark at lunch since it's blocked.. but slashdot isn't... and people on slashdot piss me off just as much if not more than than fark... i really wish everyone talking about moving to canada just would either that or shut up what's done is done, if you hate america get out so we don't have to hear all this boosheet in four years again, i really don't think i'd miss them... personally i'm not for for the big socialist governments... i don't wanna be victim of public health care... or be paying 14% sales tax...

2036 election Hautzenroder/Kornbau libertarian party... vote for me... (i think i spelled your name rightish...)

i lied a little...

i went to sleep around 1:30... that was before ohio was called... but you see i really wanted to sleep sometime in the next 2 weeks... now i get go go listen to neal boortz's take on the whole thing...

election day...

this is entirely too exciting... i couldn't possibly think of sleeping till atleast ohio is called... i'm glad to see that americas not as full of idiots as i sometimes think though...

would bush be my first choice probablay not... but i do feel he is the lesser of two evils... and my vote actually almost meant something in ohio today...

11.02.2004

these farking people

it was allowed here in ohio for there to be "witnesses" at voting stations to question the eligibility to voters... so at Oberlin college a couple students were questioned... that's all the information given in the blurb on the news... assuming there's not much more to the story, like being threatened at gun point, i don't understand why they didn't simple prove their eligibility and get over it, instead they decided to sue... these farking people... on my island, which phil can tell you all about, these people be would promptly be ground up and fed to livestock... i can't comprehend where someone gets the idea to sue over this... grrr...

saw shaun of the dead tonight... i thought it was mediocre... i didn't like it all that much.. had a few okay laughs... but i dunno... ::shrugs:: glad i didn't spend $8 but $1.75 was a reasonable price to see it...

email test

thumb drive crisis concluded

i found it!... it was on the floor by my chest of drawers... i am however not certain how it got there...

hmm...

i think i lost my thumb drive... and i'm trying but i can't think of a single reason i should be happy about that... dammit...

work was good today.... though i had to borrow's eric's thumb drive at one point... i had get a logic analyzer working... i need to dick aroud with it more tomorrow.. but i'm pretty confident it's working... i'm not entirely sure why other people were having problems with it... my boss started making fun of them when he saw it atleast kind of working....

in the room i was working Rick and Dave had conservative talk radio on... 5 horus of it..neal borts, rush rimbaugh, and sean hannity... so i have all sorts of crazy right winged ideas in my head now... but i was voting for bush anyways so no big deal...
