this seems to be a post...

i don't even remember what i wrote about in my last post... but i just feel like typing right now.. so here it goes...

back in dayton... stuff is going well... i'm being reasonably social... i've yet to play a computer game... have spent a fair amount of time on the 7, tha'ts not looking good... but lets not talk about that... works going great, keeping busy and the days are flying by...

have grad school apps in... i'm honestly leaning towards OSU... there is just a certain feleingi get in columbus... stuff just feels right there... people wan t me ot go work for them in cali... also the guy i worked for my first co-op term at my dad's work would like me ot come work for him... i think they would be willing to help out withthe cost of grad school at either place... but i've decided only to go that route if i am unable to get a research assistantship or a fellowship though, i think i'ts more important to work on school full time, and develope strong relationships with my prof and other students i'm doing research with, instead of trying not juggle work and school and half-assing both...

doug and i have decided we're gonna attempt to make our own beer... it is probably goingot be absolutely terrible... but i wanna try it... if all goes well we'll purchase equipemnt we didn't already round up along with ingredients and brew up our first batch... then we wait two weeks and pray... while getting some materials at lowe's a employees asked us if we were getting supplies for a "drinking party"... they see college aged guys buying nylon tubing they assume it's for drinking... jeez...

hmm...sunday after chruch i went ot doug's to play poker and watch football, afterfootball we went to the dayton art institutes octoberfest... i tried spaten a gemran beer which was allright... i actually like the Leinenkugel red lager on tap more... an dit was much cheaper... i had it befor ein bottles but on tap it was jsut very good... i can't believe people were paying the same price for miller...

i'm supposed to see the corpse bride friday, with girl mentioned in previous post, yay...

umm... afterwork getting supper with doug then going beer fixin' huntin'...

i finally found a way to keep moisture in roland's house... i stuck a failry large sponge on one side of his cage... he's been far mroe active since this addition... it holds the water better than the substrate...

work tomorrow... i hope i can sleep tonight.. last couple nights i have had severe issues finding the sandman... it is cooler tonight... cool air helps... i suppose i should tryto sleep earlier since i am tired... goodnight...

my gfs roomates boyfriend brews his own beer all the time. He always does a different flavor. some are good, some taste kinda fruity, which isnt the kinda taste i look for in a beer.
good to hear that Sir Roland is still crawling. How big has he gotten?

yeah, assuming the first brew is atleast sort of drinkable we'll tyr all sorts of different stuff... and at timeis i do like fruity beer... in moderation... the leinenkugel has a BerryWeiss, that is very berry flavoured..i liked the first bottle but after that i got sick of it. i think belgian beer are fairly likely to have fruit in them, or are supposed ot be served with fruit, like bluemonn a beglian style beer is supposed ot be served iwth a slice of orange... anyway...

and i'm not sure if Sir ROland has grown much i have not measured him for awhile... I've yet to see him molt though... this is of some concern to me, he should have molted at least once by now...

back to work...

I haven't had a good beer in over a year. It's mostly budwieser tasting crap here, with the best (common) beer being Heinekin. There's some German beer places here, but I haven't been too impressed by what I've had.
